I was fortunate enough to attend a POSE running workshop at CrossFit New Zealand in Auckland (Darren and Taz) , and also take time to visit CrossFit Auckland (North Shore -Alex and Lisa).
Both of those places are awesome, with excellent trainers to boot! Get yourself along to one of their classes if you're in the 'big smoke' AKA Auckland - you'll have a wicked time!
If that could get any better, Matt and Donna of MaD CrossFit - they're starting a new CrossFit Affiliate Gym in Wellington.
I wouldn't trust anybody else in NZ to teach me CrossFit except those guys and girls above.
Quality coaching = a quality time!

Seems to be basically the same as barefoot running. Except with barefoot there is more emphasis on landing just on the balls of your feet directly below your body and then kicking your legs behind.
Also, could Pose running just be another name for forefoot running?
Word of note: I think it would be really hard to do Pose or forefoot running properly with standard running shoes on, cos they are designed for the heel-toe running style.
What's your thoughts Pete?
Completely agree!
Gotta have a flat sole, so you can 'feel' the ground beneath your feet for sure!
With POSE they talk about, lean, Pull, Fall.
No pushing or driving through legs, just controlled falling AKA Running using gravity instead of fighting it :-)
