Friday: Press - Push Press - Push Jerk

Today was about learning one of the harder movements of CrossFit - the Push Jerk.

Its a powerfull explosive movement, taking a load or weight (usually heavy) from shoulder to overhead in the most effecient manor.

The basis of the Push Jerk can be found in its predecessor the Push Press and the Press. Learning these movements until they are second nature is the key to really appreciating how the Jerk comes into its own.

None the more so when getting a heavy, heavy weight locked out above the head.




WOD for the day 3 RFT (Rounds For Time)

7 Push Press (mod heavy weight)
50 Air Squats
