Tuesday 10th Nov: Heavy Deadlifts + Press up max

Big welcome to Clark - He demonstrated solid form tonight and has some excellent goals to support his high level rugby!


Tonight's efforts were focused on the Deadlift and getting the form squared away. CrossFit is a journey. Much like a sculpter starts with imprecise block of granite, we as athletes strip away the extraneous - with the goal of being left with the most impressive and effective form possible.

The intent of this process far outweighs the ACTUAL outcome, for the simple reason that we are always striving for perfection or virtuosity but alas this goal is, for the most part, always just slightly out of reach!

Steve is getting better and better at contracting and tensing his upper back, to flatten and hence improve its effectiveness.
A great lift by Clark 130 X 3 come up easliy - looking forward to taking that far far higher!

There's nothing quite like finishing the session with max rep press ups :-)
